Occasionally, there are times when a student work arrangement is not functioning as it should. Supervisors should keep in mind that a work-study position is just like any other job. Students can be terminated for certain justified reasons, including falsifying timesheets, failing to show up for work, etc. When your student employment situation is not working out, keep a well-documented record of any issues and contact Career Management when you have questions. When the decision is made that a student's employment will be terminated, the appropriate form may be requested from the Financial Aid Office.
