First Paragraph: State the reason for the letter and the specific position or type of work for which you are applying. Indicate how or the resource where you learned about the position opening.

Explain how your education and training make you a well qualified candidate. If you have practical work experience, point out some of your achievements, qualifications and the skills that you have developed.
