Discover is a computerized career assessment tool that provides information to help individuals make important educational and career decisions.

Discover assesses one's career related interests, abilities and work related values. Based on one's answers, Discover offers occupations for exploration.

The Discover guidance process provides comprehensive information on over 500 different occupations including:

Job descriptions Work environment Education and training requirements Physical demands Salary and job outlook Links to related organizations Links to schools to train for the field

Discover also offers information on colleges, majors, schools and training institutions, as well as financial aid and military options.

To receive access to this program online, send an email with your name, grade, and the school you are attending to careers@clarkstate.edu. We will send your login instructions within two(2) working days.

A Discover assessment and a career counseling session takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you have completed the career inventories, please call 328-6093 or email us to make an appointment to review your results and discuss your career search plan.
