About Us & MissionAbout UsThe Career Center coordinates career development, cooperative education and employment services at Clark State Community College. New students are encouraged to start visiting the Career Center soon after arriving at the College to explore career decision-making and planning resources. Students looking for part-time or full-time employment may register for employment search assistance at anytime during their Clark State experience. Graduating students should register with the Career Center three to four months before graduation in order to effectively utilize the Center's resources. The Career Center pledges to serve all students and individuals who have completed an application for admission to Clark State Community College. We recommend completion of the college placement tests prior to career counseling. The Career Center will also provide services to eligible Workforce Development Grant participants. Mission The Clark State Community College Career Center promotes the individual professional development of every student and encourages an understanding of career development and continuous learning as lifelong processes. The Career Center team is committed to supporting the students, faculty and community by providing experiences and activities that will increase their awareness of the essential skills and behaviors necessary for career success.
