Work-Study

Students who are interested in obtaining a work-study position should complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the job bank or check the job boards to monitor available positions.
  2. Complete an application in the Office of Career Management in TLC 105.
  3. Contact the appropriate department supervisor with specific questions about the position, if necessary.
  4. Wait to be contacted for an interview.
  5. Complete all required paperwork in the Financial Aid office after being offered a position.

Once an application is completed, students may request to be considered for subsequent positions that become available by contacting the Career Management Office. A new application must be completed each academic year.

Note: Some positions are only available to students who are eligible for Federal Work-Study. Check with the Financial Aid office to determine Federal Work-Study eligibility. Completing an application does not guarantee an offer of employment.

Application: All students must complete the work-study application and return it to the Office of Career Management, TLC Room 105. The application may be returned in person, by mail (Office of Career management, Clark State Community College, P.O. Box 570, Springfield, OH 45501), or downloaded and returned by e-mail to careers@clarkstate.edu.

Search Jobs: Log in to the Job Bank and click on Work-Study to view available work-study positions. Contact the supervisor listed if you have specific questions about the position, and be sure you have submitted your application to the Career Management office.
