Clark State Community College Work-Study Supervisors

Please complete the following steps in order to begin hiring work-study students:

  1. Complete a job description and make sure it is on file with the Office of Career Management.
  2. Activate your position in the job bank.
  3. Make sure every student you interview has completed an application and returned it to the Career Management office.
  4. Notify Career Management when your position is filled and schedule a training/orientation session for the student.
  5. Send your new work-study student to the Financial Aid office to complete required paperwork.

Job Descriptions: Please complete a job description form and return it to the Office of Career Management, TLC Room 105. Your position will be posted in the job bank and made available for students to as long as your position is vacant.

Opening your position to students: When your work-study position becomes vacant, please log into the Job Bank and activate your position description. Register as an employer with Clark State Community College, scroll to the appropriate position, click edit, and change the applicaiton deadline date.

Application: Applications are available in the Career Management office and should be returned to Career Management in TLC 105.
